Overview
Record any tab's screen and audio, tuned for Google Meet. Every recording stays on your computer — nothing is uploaded.
Never lose what was said in a meeting again. Tab Recorder captures any browser tab — built with Google Meet calls in mind. How it works 1. Open the tab you want to record — a Google Meet call, for example 2. Click the Tab Recorder icon next to the address bar 3. Start recording — finished recordings land in your library Features • One-click recording — screen + audio or audio only, with optional microphone • Live level meter and file size — see that sound is being captured • Discard a recording mid-way — nothing is kept if you change your mind • Space-efficient quality presets — each one shows how much an hour takes (Standard 720p is about 480 MB per hour; audio only about 30 MB) • Download the audio on its own — a small Ogg file that opens in most players • Keep audio only — remove the video from old recordings to free space • Library — grid or list, organized by date, searchable, thumbnails, renaming, and undo for deletes • Playback — 1× to 2× speed, skip back and forward, keyboard shortcuts • Auto-save — even if the tab closes or the browser quits, everything up to that moment is kept • Keyboard shortcut — Alt+Shift+R starts and stops from anywhere Privacy Every recording stays inside your browser, on your computer. No uploads, no account, no analytics, no ads. Note Informing meeting participants that you are recording is your responsibility. Check your local laws and your organization's policies.
