Overview
Auto pause and mute playback when switching away from a tab, and resume and unmute when returning.
Take control of your media playback with SleepyTab! SleepyTab automatically manages your video and audio tabs, ensuring you never miss a moment or get blasted by sudden noise. This extension is a "Media Controller" that automatically pauses/resumes videos. It is NOT a "Tab Suspender" designed to free up memory by discarding tabs. 🎬 Core Features: 1. Smart Auto-Pause & Resume - Automatically pauses videos when you switch to another tab or minimize the window. - Instantly resumes playback when you return to the tab. - Works with YouTube, Twitch, Netflix, and many other HTML5 media sites. 2. Mute-Only Mode - Prefer not to stop the video? You can choose to "Mute Only" instead of pausing. - Perfect for live streams or online games where you want the content to keep running silently in the background. 3. Background Playback Control - Want to listen to music while working? - Enable "Play while Locked/Minimized" to keep audio playing even when the screen is locked or the window is hidden. 4. Quick Tab Switching (Mouse Wheel Support) - Navigate through your tabs effortlessly! - Hold a custom key and scroll your mouse wheel to switch between tabs instantly. - Customizable keyboard shortcuts are also available. 5. "DropOpen" - Background Tab Opener - Drag and drop any link onto the page to open it in a new background tab. - Browse efficiently without losing focus on your current page. 6. Cloud Backup - Save your settings to Google Drive™ and sync them across multiple computers. 🛡️ Privacy Policy: SleepyTab respects your privacy. All processing happens locally on your device. We do not collect your browsing history or personal data.
