Overview
YouTube player skins, dark theme and true black, real 100% volume, autoskip ads, cinema mode, screenshot and transcript.
Give the YouTube™ player the look you want — plus a few switches that make watching better. 🎨 130+ player skins Pick a skin on youtube-skins.com and press "Add" to keep it. Clicking the extension icon opens your skins page, where one click puts a skin on the player. The player changes instantly, on every video. All icons are vector, so they stay sharp on any screen, and the collection grows every week. 🌙 Dark theme + True black One switch turns all of YouTube dark — not just the player. True black paints the interface pure black, which switches the pixels off on OLED screens and saves battery. 🔊 Optimize volume — real 100% YouTube quietly turns some videos down. With this switch on, 100% on the slider means 100% of the original sound, so quiet interviews and old uploads are finally loud enough. ⏭ Autoskip ADs The extension presses "Skip" for you the moment the button appears. 💯 Always HD The best available quality is selected automatically on every video. 🍿 Cinema mode The area around the player dims after 5 seconds without mouse movement. Move the mouse and the normal view is back. ➖ Permanent progress bar Keep the progress bar visible while the video is playing. 📸 Screenshot, transcript and thumbnail buttons Three buttons appear under the video: save the current frame as a PNG, open the text of what is being said, or grab the video cover in full quality. Every feature works on its own and is turned on or off by a simple switch on your skins page — use only what you need. The extension is free and needs no account. Thank you for using it — and please don't forget to rate it, your ratings really help us add new skins.
