Overview
Make every search private. SearchLock+ reroutes Google, Bing & Ask searches to SearchLock. No history, no profile, no tracking.
SEARCH LIKE NOBODY'S WATCHING. SearchLock+ makes SearchLock your default search engine, and reroutes searches you make on Google, Bing, Ask, and other tracking engines to SearchLock's private results instead. WHAT YOU GET • No history — SearchLock keeps no logs tying searches to you • No profile — no tracking cookies, no ad profile built from your searches • No ads that follow you — what you search stops chasing you around the web • No keystroke logging — big engines record what you type as you type it. SearchLock+ blocks that. • Not tied to your accounts — searches are disconnected from your email and social logins • Encrypted — SSL with perfect forward secrecy; even your ISP can't read your searches HOW IT WORKS 1. Add SearchLock+ and approve SearchLock as your default search engine — 100% opt-in 2. Search from the address bar. Private by default. 3. Search on Google, Bing, or Ask anyway? SearchLock+ reroutes it to safety and shows a notice on the page. Nothing happens behind your back. YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Only does what you approved at install • Pause or resume anytime from the extensions menu • Free and lightweight • Patented search-redirection technology from the team that pioneered the category SearchLock+ is SearchLock OG — the original patented redirection technology — plus SearchLock as your default search engine.
