Overview
Reminds you of your intention when browsing websites
Stay Focused. Browse with Purpose. Reclaim Your Time. Tired of mindless scrolling or falling into endless rabbit holes? Reminds Me is a powerful, privacy-first Chrome extension designed to help you stay intentional and break the autopilot habit. Whether you're working, studying, or just taking a quick break, Reminds Me keeps your original goal front and center. 🚀 How It Works: 1) Set Your Intention – When you visit a site, Reminds Me gently asks: "What’s your purpose here?" (e.g., "research for project," "check bank balance," or "quick 5-minute break"). 2) Stay on Track with a Live Timer – A real-time clock keeps you aware of your time. If you linger too long, scroll excessively, or go idle, the extension pulses to remind you of your mission. 3) Take Control – When a reminder appears, you decide: Dismiss: Keep working if you haven’t finished your task. Suspend: Pause the tab and see your intention full-screen—perfect for deep work and preventing "reflex" browsing. Close: Exit the tab instantly to avoid the distraction. 🔥 Key Features: ⏱️ Live Intention Timer: See exactly how long you’ve been on your task with a real-time clock in the overlay and popup. 🛡️ Smart Whitelisting: One-click exclusion for your essential tools (music, work portals, or productivity sites) where you don't need reminders. 📜 Recent Intentions History: Track your focus trends with a local history of your previous goals. 🔒 Privacy-First & Local: All data stays on your device. No tracking, no ads, no external servers—ever. ⚙️ Fully Customizable: Adjust reminder intervals (1, 2, or 5 minutes) and choose your preferred default actions in the settings. 🍃 Ultra-Lightweight: Rebuilt for Manifest V3 to ensure maximum speed, security, and zero impact on your browser’s performance. Break the cycle of distracted browsing. Install Reminds Me today and start browsing with purpose!
