Connects your university LMS to Kerra for course sync
Kerra Connect syncs your university courses from Canvas and Brightspace (D2L) directly to Kerra. Kerra Connect also reads your Blackboard and Moodle classes. It reads only the classes you are already signed in to in this browser, the same way it does for Canvas and Brightspace. WHAT IT DOES - Syncs your courses, assignments, and due dates automatically - Enables Kerra to create personalized study notes from your course materials - Keeps your calendar up-to-date with upcoming deadlines HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Connect your Kerra account (automatic when you visit kerra.app) 3. Grant access to your specific LMS when prompted 4. Your courses sync automatically in the background PRIVACY & SECURITY - We only request access to YOUR specific LMS hostname (e.g., canvas.columbia.edu) - We do not access your general browsing history - Your LMS password is never stored (we use your browser's existing session) - The extension is read-only: it only fetches course data for syncing - All data is encrypted in transit and at rest PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED - "Read and change your data on [your-lms.edu]": Required to fetch your course data from your LMS - "Storage": Saves connection settings locally - "Alarms": Schedules background keep-alive and session checks - "Offscreen": Keeps the extension responsive for fast background reconnect when no Kerra tab is open Questions?
