Make Instagram and Facebook easier to browse with InstaHand. Control videos with familiar keyboard shortcuts, move between posts and Reels, and customize your experience from one simple popup. 🎬 MORE CONTROL OVER VIDEOS • Play or pause supported feed videos with a click or the Space key. • Seek backward and forward with customizable jumps from 1–30 seconds, defaulting to 2 seconds. • Control the active video without keeping your mouse over it. • Press M to mute or unmute. • Adjust volume with Ctrl + Up/Down, or Ctrl + mouse wheel while hovering over a video. • Use < and > for frame stepping. • Open videos in fullscreen with F. • Fit portrait Instagram videos to the screen, with Tab to switch between fit and fill. • Enable automatic unmuting or block Facebook’s floating mini player. ⌨️ BROWSE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD Enable feed navigation to move between posts and Reels using Up/Down keys or on-screen buttons. • Browse supported image carousels with Left/Right. • Select Facebook Home Reel previews with Left/Right, pause with Space, and open with F or a click. • Open supported photo and text posts with F, then close with F or Esc. • Navigate Instagram Reels with the mouse wheel. • Enable separate Reel navigation inside Instagram DMs. Arrow-key behavior follows the current view: browse cards and carousels, or seek within the active video. 🔒 OPTIONAL PRIVACY CONTROLS Choose separate options for Instagram and Facebook/Messenger to suppress supported read receipts, typing indicators, and story-view notifications. These controls depend on the websites’ current behavior and do not guarantee anonymity. ⚙️ YOUR SETTINGS, YOUR CHOICE Configure Instagram and Facebook separately. Video-player features are enabled by default; navigation, privacy, and feed-management options stay off until you enable them. Facebook also includes optional scheduled refresh, tab-discard protection, and an experimental “Keep feed when returning” setting. The experimental setting is intended to reduce feed resets after switching tabs; it may affect automatic video resume and cannot prevent every reset. InstaHand improves playback controls and navigation—it does not increase video resolution, frame rate, or connection speed. Feature availability may vary as Instagram and Facebook change their layouts. An independent extension, not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or Messenger.
