Overview
Declutter your Gmail toolbar by hiding the Upgrade button. No tracking, no data collection.
Declutter your Gmail toolbar. This extension hides the "Upgrade" button in the top-right of the Gmail interface, so your toolbar stays clean, focused, and distraction-free. It does one thing, and only that one thing: it hides that single button. Nothing else on the page is changed. How it works • A tiny content script runs only on mail.google.com. • It hides one specific toolbar element (Gmail's Workspace "global persistent entry point") and re-applies automatically as Gmail re-renders its interface. • Nothing else on the page is touched. Privacy • No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. • No analytics, no tracking, no external network requests. • The extension has access to mail.google.com only, and uses it solely to hide one toolbar button. Open and minimal: the entire extension is a manifest, one small script, one CSS rule, and icons. Not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by Google. Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC.
