Clear Browsing History makes it simple to keep your browsing data clean and your digital footprint minimal. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Changelog ## 2.0.0 **Fixes** - Auto-delete now actually runs when it is turned on in Settings (v1 also required a hidden "Auto" button state). - Turning auto-delete off in the popup no longer makes the switch disappear. - Auto-delete is re-scheduled after a browser restart and after updates. - Notifications work again (v1 pointed at a missing icon file). - "Delete browsing data" now deletes the types chosen in Settings, the same set auto-delete uses. - Two different types were both labelled "Cache Storage"; they are now "Cached files" and "Cache storage". - "Feedback" link pointed to a placeholder URL; it now opens this extension's store reviews. - Errors during deletion are reported instead of silently showing success; the fake progress bar is gone. **Safer defaults** - Saved passwords are no longer included by default, are marked as sensitive and always ask for confirmation. - Removed data types Chrome no longer supports (Application Cache, WebSQL, Plugin data). - Removed the unnecessary `web_accessible_resources` entry exposed to all websites. **New** - Redesigned popup, settings and help pages with dark mode, keyboard support and right-to-left layout. - Whole interface translated into 25 languages (v1 only translated the name). - Separate time range for automatic/startup cleanup, interval presets, "last cleaned" status, toolbar badge while auto-delete is on. - Settings save instantly and stay in sync between the popup and settings page. - Existing settings are migrated automatically on update.
