Overview
Bookmark manager with a full-tab workspace, reading list and archive, search, tagging, link checks, analytics and on-device AI.
Bookmark Enhancer manages the bookmarks you already have in Chrome. It does not create an account, does not sync to a server, and does not send your bookmarks anywhere. It has two parts. The toolbar popup is for quick work: saving the page you are on, searching, and opening recent bookmarks. The bookmark manager is a full page for everything that needs room. Save a page in seconds Click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+B. Type to search your folders, create a new one on the spot, or pick one of your recent folders. Add tags with autocomplete and suggestions taken from your other bookmarks on the same site. Save every tab in a window to a new folder at once. Press Alt+Shift+S to save the current page without opening the popup. A check mark on the toolbar icon tells you the page is already saved. Find anything Search titles, addresses, tags and folder names from the popup, the bookmark manager, or the address bar: type "bm", a space, then what you are looking for. Browse folders in the popup's sidebar, copy a link, or open a whole folder. Ask your bookmarks Ask in plain words and get answers from your own library. "What did I save this week?", "How many bookmarks do I have from YouTube?", "Do I have duplicates?", "What should I read next?" and "How do I back up?" all get exact answers. Give commands like "archive those", "tag my rust bookmarks as code", "move them to Research" or "delete the second one". Every change is shown first, waits for you to allow it, and can be undone. Charts Ask for a chart and get one drawn from your library: bookmarks saved per month, most saved sites, tags, folders, kinds of pages, the weekdays you save on, how old your bookmarks are, and how far through your reading list you are. Choose a bar to see those bookmarks. Every chart also opens as a table. Reading list and archive Set any bookmark aside to read later, mark it read when you are done, and archive it to get it out of your active library without deleting it. Archived bookmarks stay in Chrome exactly where they were and can be restored at any time. A Today page shows what you saved and read recently. Organize in bulk Select bookmarks with a click or Shift-click to tag, untag, move, add to the reading list, archive or delete many at once, with undo. Rename and delete folders. Rules file or tag bookmarks by site or title words, and can run on a schedule. Maintenance Find duplicate addresses, empty folders and tracking parameters, and review exactly what will change before anything is modified. Check whether your links still work. Take local backups and restore any of them later. Export as JSON or as an HTML bookmarks file any browser can import. Insights See how your collection has grown, which sites and folders dominate it, what you actually open, and which days you save on. Import Import bookmarks from the HTML file every browser exports, from CSV, or from a Bookmark Enhancer backup. Duplicates are detected and you see the full list before anything is added. Getting started A short guide opens when you install the extension and is always one click away from the popup and the bookmark manager. On-device AI (optional) On Chrome versions that provide built-in AI, Ask your bookmarks writes answers in plain language, and the bookmark manager can suggest tags, propose a folder structure, file bookmarks into your folders, spot the same page saved twice under different addresses, translate titles and shorten long ones. These use Chrome's built-in on-device model. Your bookmarks are not sent to any server, and there is no API key. If your device or Chrome version does not support it, counts, lists, charts and commands in Ask your bookmarks still work, and nothing else in the extension is affected. Keyboard Alt+Shift+B opens the popup and Alt+Shift+S saves the current page. In the popup, / jumps to search and Ctrl/Cmd+Enter saves. In the bookmark manager, Ctrl/Cmd+K or / jumps to search, N adds a bookmark, G then B, R, T, A or I goes to Bookmarks, Reading list, Today, Archive or Insights, and ? lists every shortcut.
